Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CP)
View a short video on Coordinated Program in Dietetics advising (link opens in new window).
The EMU–Online Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CP) integrates didactic (lecture/classroom) instruction with 1,200 hours of supervised practice experiences (lab classes). This is a full time program completed in 20 months (fall, winter, spring/summer, fall and winter semesters). Out-of-state students can take EMU–Online courses at Michigan in-state tuition rates.
Once accepted into the bachelor’s in dietetics (CP) program, you begin the professional phase of the program. This means you’ll take all course work in a specific sequence and complete supervised practice experiences concurrently with the lecture courses.
As an online student, you’ll be required to secure preceptors in your geographical area that will coordinate all your supervised practice experiences. You’ll work with the dietetics and human nutrition clinical coordinator to make sure all paperwork is properly in place before you begin your experiences.
