Success is important to you – and it's important to us. Student services aims to provide you with all pieces vital to getting started at Eastern Michigan University through Extended Programs and Educational Outreach. And when you have questions, we'll work our hardest to get you the answers you need.

There are a few things you should know before you get started, though. When you become an Extended Programs and Educational Outreach student, you are also becoming an EMU student. Extended Programs and Educational Outreach is an integral part of Eastern Michigan University.

Next, you can enroll in a limited amount of courses through EPEO without applying for admission to an EMU degree program. This gets you started with courses you need while you collect your admissions materials (transcripts, etc.) and send them in to the Admissions Office. This is perfect if you just need a class or two. If you plan on entering a program, you’ll still need to apply, but enrolling in classes through EPEO can get a jump-start with your first courses.
